PCOS needs a low carb diet. No white breads, white pasta, white rice, and very little to no sugar. Eat every two to three hours. Small meals! And you MUST do a combo of aerobic and strength training. The loss will be slow, but it does happen. It's not an easy syndrome to manage and there will be constant side effects to deal with. BUT once you start eating clean and working out, you feel SO MUCH BETTER. I take LExapro (smallest dose available) to manage the PMS. It works for me! I also take 500mgs of Metformin daily to manage the insulin resistance. A good Endocrinologist is critical. Let me know if I can answer any more questions. Good luck!
